Text 21 Jun Internet Radio on the Rise

I personally was never an avid user of internet radio sites like Pandora.  Don’t get me wrong, I would try it out occasionally, but anytime I want to hear some music, I always use my paid Spotify account.  Not a lot of people have been willing to pay $9.99/month for unlimited music anywhere you go (And I have no idea why).  I can’t seem to get enough of Spotify.  I use it every single day for usually hours on end.  And now that they have a new radio feature, I’m sure I’ll be using it even more.  Granted, the mobile radio feature is fairly new and will take some time to be perfected, but I’m willing to wait.  As for Pandora, they are no longer the dominant internet radio site as of last week.  Songza is an up and coming internet radio app that really seems to have taken the market by storm.  I just tried it out yesterday for the first time and was pleasantly surprised.  The article states that the reason Songza has become so popular is that you don’t even have to think of an artist or song you want to hear; you just pick your time of day and mood and Songza plays an appropriate playlist.  I can’t even count how many times I wanted to hear new, good music but had no idea where to start.  And it was difficult to find stuff on Pandora or Spotify because I didn’t even know what kind of music I wanted to hear.  Now, Songza has made the decision for me and I couldn’t be happier.  So please, download Songza and give it a shot; you won’t be disappointed.

Burn out.
